It is now possible to transplant hair to recreate moustaches, beards, sideburns, eyebrows, and even eyelashes. The technique is basically similar to Follicular Unit Transplantation in that the hair comes from the back or sides of the scalp. We have further developed our technique to transplant hair into scar tissue, so that previously unsightly scars can often be covered with hair. Another popular procedure is reconstructing hairlines in women with hair loss above and in front of the ears due to the traction of a face-lift.
